Borrowing from Other Libraries If you require materials that are not available at the Burritt Library, it is possible to obtain them. Please review the 3 scenarios below to determine which method of delivery is right for you. Solution: Place a request for the item in CONSULS. To do this, you must have a valid BlueChip ID and Library PIN. Simply search for the item in CONSULS. When you locate it, you will see a button at the top of the screen labeled "Request Book." Click this button and a form will appear asking for the following information: University ID, Library PIN, and Pickup Location. Requests placed in CONSULS take about 2-3 business days to arrive. When the item arrives you will receive notification via the e-mail address specified in your Library Record . Items requested through CONSULS are available for pickup at the Burritt Library Circulation Desk. For more information on setting a library PIN, see Library PIN information. Solution: Fill out the Book Request Form. You will be notified by e-mail when the item arrives. Interlibrary Loan materials may be picked up in the Interlibrary Loan Office on the Main Level of the library. Solution: Fill out the Article Request Form. Select "Electronic Delivery" if you would prefer the article(s) made available via the web. Otherwise, articles may be picked up at the ILL Office when they arrive.
